These Subscription Terms ("Subscription Terms") govern the purchase, renewal, cancellation, billing, usage limits, and use of paid subscriptions, free trials, promotional offers, add-ons, and other paid features made available through ResetDay (the "Service").
These Subscription Terms form part of the ResetDay Terms of Use. In the event of any conflict between these Subscription Terms and the Terms of Use with respect to subscriptions, billing, renewals, cancellation, refunds, usage limits, add-ons, or paid entitlements, these Subscription Terms will prevail for those matters only.
ResetDay is a consumer wellness and educational application designed to help adults who want to drink less understand their drinking patterns, build healthier routines, and practice psychology-based behavioral change skills. A paid subscription gives access to digital wellness features only. It does not purchase medical care, psychotherapy, addiction treatment, detoxification support, crisis support, or any guaranteed health outcome.
1. Subscription Model
Access to certain parts of the Service may be free. Access to premium features may be provided on a paid recurring subscription basis, through a one-time purchase, through an in-app purchase, or through an optional add-on, depending on the offer presented at the time of purchase.
No free trial is provided unless expressly stated at the time of purchase. If a free trial or promotional offer is available, its duration, price after the trial or promotion, billing date, renewal terms, and cancellation method will be disclosed before you subscribe.
By purchasing a subscription, you authorize ResetDay, the applicable app marketplace, and/or our payment processors to charge the applicable subscription fees, taxes, and any other disclosed amounts to the payment method you provide on a recurring basis at the billing interval you select, until the subscription is cancelled in accordance with these Subscription Terms.
2. Subscription Plans
The Service may offer weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, lifetime, or other subscription periods or paid plans. The applicable subscription plan, billing period, price, currency, included features, renewal terms, free trial or promotional terms, and any usage limits are the terms presented to you at the time of purchase.
Paid subscription features may include, depending on the plan selected and the features available at the time: personalized wellness plans, educational content, reflection exercises, journaling tools, habit and drinking-pattern tracking, reminders, progress insights, premium courses, AI-powered or automated features, community features, coaching or expert-support features, or other digital features.
Illustrative plan categories are listed below. The actual plan, price, currency, term, and included features must be shown in the purchase flow before payment is collected.

All subscription fees are charged in advance for the applicable billing period, unless expressly stated otherwise. Subscription plans, prices, features, billing periods, usage limits, availability, and paid entitlements may be changed by ResetDay at any time, subject to applicable law and marketplace rules.
3. Free Trials and Promotional Offers
ResetDay may offer free trials, discounted introductory pricing, coupons, limited promotions, or other promotional offers. Promotional offers are available only when expressly displayed in the Service, on the website, in the app marketplace, or in the purchase flow.
Unless the offer states otherwise, a subscription that begins with a free trial or promotional period will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of that period. Your payment method will be charged the then-current price and applicable taxes unless you cancel before the trial or promotional period ends.
Eligibility for free trials or promotions may be limited by account, device, payment method, jurisdiction, prior use, or other reasonable criteria. ResetDay may modify or withdraw promotional offers at any time, subject to applicable law. We will not use fake countdown timers, false scarcity statements, or misleading urgency claims in connection with subscription offers.
4. Automatic Renewal
Unless cancelled before the applicable renewal date, each paid subscription renews automatically for successive periods equal to the subscription period you selected, or for another renewal period disclosed at the time of purchase.
By completing a subscription purchase, you expressly acknowledge and agree that your subscription includes automatic renewal and recurring charges until cancelled.
The automatic renewal terms, including the renewal period, price, billing frequency, cancellation method, and any material restrictions, will be disclosed clearly and conspicuously at or before the time of purchase, to the extent required by applicable law. Where required by applicable law or marketplace rules, ResetDay or the applicable marketplace will provide advance notice of an upcoming renewal or material price change.
5. Payment Authorization
You authorize ResetDay, the applicable app marketplace, and/or our payment processors to charge your selected payment method for subscription fees, recurring charges, taxes, and any other amounts disclosed at the time of purchase. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current and accurate.
If you purchase through Apple App Store or another app marketplace, your payment authorization is provided to that marketplace and is governed by the applicable marketplace terms. If you purchase through our website, your payment authorization is provided to ResetDay and/or our designated payment processor.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel a subscription at any time before the next renewal date. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, marketplace policy, or expressly stated by ResetDay at the time of cancellation, cancellation becomes effective at the end of the then-current billing period, and you retain access to the paid subscription features until that billing period expires.
If you subscribed through Apple App Store or another app marketplace, cancellation must be completed through the subscription management tools of that marketplace unless we provide another cancellation method.
If you subscribed directly through the ResetDay website, you may cancel through your account settings, through the subscription management page made available to you, or by contacting us via email support@resetday.io. If you subscribed online, we will make an online cancellation method available. Where required by applicable law, cancellation will be available through the same medium used to subscribe or through a mechanism that is no more burdensome than the subscription method.
You may be asked to provide optional feedback about why you are cancelling. You are not required to complete a survey, speak with a support representative, or provide a reason for cancellation as a condition of cancelling future recurring charges.
To avoid being charged for the next billing period, you must cancel before the applicable renewal date and before the renewal charge is processed. Processing times may vary depending on the marketplace or payment processor.
7. Account Deletion Does Not Cancel a Subscription
Deleting the ResetDay app, deleting your ResetDay account, uninstalling the app, or stopping use of the Service does not by itself cancel an active paid subscription. You must complete the subscription cancellation process through the applicable account settings, app marketplace, payment flow, or payment provider mechanism.
If you request deletion of your account while you still have an active subscription, we may instruct you to cancel the subscription through the appropriate marketplace or payment provider before or during the account deletion process. Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate processes.
8. Access After Cancellation, Expiration, or Non-Renewal
After cancellation, expiration, or non-renewal of a paid subscription, your access to paid features may end at the close of the current paid billing period, unless otherwise stated in the applicable offer, required by law, or required by marketplace policy.
ResetDay may continue to provide access to free features, account settings, export tools, or other limited features. We will not represent that all progress, journal entries, habit history, or achievements will be deleted solely because you cancel a subscription unless that is technically or legally necessary and clearly disclosed to you.
Some premium content, AI features, coaching features, community features, advanced insights, reminders, or personalized plan updates may become unavailable after your paid access ends. Data retention and deletion are governed by our Privacy Policy and any applicable Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice.
9. Failed Payments
If a subscription charge is declined, reversed, fails, or cannot be completed for any reason, ResetDay, the applicable app marketplace, or the applicable payment processor may retry the charge using the payment method on file, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We may suspend, downgrade, or limit access to paid subscription features until all outstanding amounts are successfully collected. You remain responsible for amounts due, subject to applicable law and marketplace rules.
10. Usage Limits and Fair Use
Certain subscription plans, AI features, coaching features, community features, reminders, content access, downloads, or other premium features may be subject to usage limits, fair-use limits, technical limits, or safety limits. Any material usage limits will be disclosed in the Service or at the time of purchase where required.
Usage limits apply per billing period unless expressly stated otherwise. Included usage generally resets at the beginning of each new billing period. Unused usage from a main subscription does not roll over to subsequent billing periods unless expressly stated in the offer.
Subscription benefits, usage limits, AI credits, coaching credits, discounts, or paid entitlements are personal to you and may not be transferred, shared, pooled, exchanged, resold, or redeemed for cash or credit unless expressly permitted by ResetDay.
11. Measurement of Usage
Usage is measured by ResetDay's systems based on actual consumption of Service resources and feature interactions. For example, usage may be recorded when you access premium content, generate or receive AI-powered prompts or summaries, use advanced tracking features, book or attend coaching or expert-support sessions, join paid programs, activate reminders, or otherwise initiate use of paid features.
ResetDay may use technical logs, system records, entitlement records, subscription status records, timestamps, transaction records, and consumption tracking tools to calculate and verify usage, prevent fraud, provide customer support, and resolve disputes.
Usage records are not clinical records and are not used to diagnose, treat, assess, or manage alcohol withdrawal, Alcohol Use Disorder, mental health conditions, or any other medical condition. Our handling of subscription and usage data is described in our Privacy Policy and any applicable Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice.
12. Add-Ons, AI Credits, Coaching Sessions, and One-Time Purchases
ResetDay may offer optional add-ons or one-time purchases, such as additional AI usage, special programs, premium courses, coaching sessions, expert-support sessions, or other paid features. Add-ons are available only when expressly presented in the Service or purchase flow.
The price, currency, included access, expiration date if any, cancellation rules if any, refund terms, and any limitations applicable to an add-on will be presented at the time of purchase. Add-ons do not renew automatically unless the purchase flow expressly states that they are recurring.
Coaching, expert-support, or group features, if offered, are provided for educational and wellness support only. They are not medical care, psychotherapy, addiction treatment, detoxification support, crisis counseling, or emergency support.
13. Consumption Records
For billing accuracy, fraud prevention, account security, customer support, compliance, and dispute resolution, ResetDay may maintain records of subscription status, trial status, promotions, transactions, invoices, renewal dates, cancellation requests, refunds, chargebacks, failed payments, usage of paid features, AI usage, add-on usage, coaching or expert-support bookings, timestamps, technical events, and related consumption data.
ResetDay's recorded consumption data will be used to determine whether, when, and to what extent subscription resources or add-on resources were consumed, except in the case of manifest error. These records are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
14. Refunds
Except where required by applicable law, marketplace policy, or expressly stated in a specific offer or refund policy, subscription fees and other paid charges are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds, credits, or prorated refunds for partially used billing periods.
Cancellation of a subscription does not by itself entitle you to a refund for the current billing period. If you purchased through Apple App Store or another third-party marketplace, refund requests must be submitted to that marketplace and will be handled under its policies.
The refund eligibility, conditions, exclusions, and procedures are governed by the separate Refund Policy.
15. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
You should not initiate chargebacks or payment disputes in bad faith or for the purpose of avoiding payment for subscription periods, paid features, add-ons, or resources that have been provided or consumed.
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, ResetDay may suspend access to paid features while the matter is under review, subject to applicable law, marketplace rules, and any applicable refund policy. We may also rely on subscription records, consent records, purchase receipts, usage records, and cancellation records to respond to the dispute.
16. Taxes
Prices may exclude applicable taxes unless expressly stated otherwise. You are responsible for any applicable sales tax, value added tax, goods and services tax, digital services tax, or similar taxes associated with your subscription or paid purchase, except to the extent such taxes are required to be collected and remitted by ResetDay, the applicable app marketplace, or the payment processor.
17. Payment Processors and App Stores
Payments may be processed by Stripe, Apple, Google, or other third-party payment processors or app marketplaces designated by ResetDay. ResetDay does not store full payment card details when payment processing is handled by a third-party processor or app marketplace.
Payment processing is subject to the terms, conditions, refund policies, cancellation tools, and privacy practices of the applicable payment processor or app marketplace. ResetDay is not responsible for errors, delays, refusals, payment-method limitations, taxes, refunds, or other actions taken by third-party payment providers, except to the extent required by applicable law.
18. Health, Wellness, and Results Disclaimer for Paid Features
Paid features are intended for educational and wellness purposes only. A paid subscription does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, cure, mitigation, or prevention of any disease or medical condition. Paid features are not treatment for Alcohol Use Disorder, alcoholism, alcohol dependence, substance use disorder, depression, anxiety, trauma, or any other physical or mental health condition.
Paid features are not psychotherapy, psychological counseling, psychiatric care, addiction counseling, detoxification support, relapse-prevention treatment, crisis counseling, emergency support, or a substitute for a qualified professional.
Results vary. ResetDay does not guarantee that a subscription, AI feature, personalized plan, course, reminder, journal, habit tracker, community feature, coaching feature, or other paid feature will reduce alcohol consumption, help you quit drinking, improve sleep, improve mood, save money, prevent relapse, avoid cravings, or achieve any particular outcome or timeline.
Alcohol withdrawal can be dangerous. If you have been drinking heavily, are concerned about withdrawal, experience withdrawal symptoms, feel unable to reduce safely, or are in crisis, consult a qualified healthcare professional or emergency service. ResetDay does not monitor the Service for emergencies and cannot provide emergency response.
19. Privacy and Consumer Health Data
ResetDay may process information related to your account, subscription status, transactions, paid entitlements, feature usage, drinking-pattern logs, goals, routines, reflections, moods, triggers, reminders, and wellness preferences. Depending on your location, some of this information may be considered sensitive personal information, health information, wellness information, or consumer health data under applicable law.
Our Privacy Policy and any applicable Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explain what information we collect, how we use and disclose it, how long we retain it, and how you may exercise privacy rights. We will not sell consumer health data unless expressly permitted by applicable law and only after obtaining any required authorization.
ResetDay will not use sensitive wellness or consumer health data submitted in the Service to pressure you into purchasing, renewing, or retaining a subscription through shame, fear, false urgency, or manipulative personalization.
20. Communications About Subscriptions
By purchasing or using a subscription, you agree to receive service-related electronic communications about your account and subscription, such as purchase confirmations, payment receipts, renewal notices, trial reminders where required, price-change notices, cancellation confirmations, refund communications, failed-payment notices, security alerts, and support messages.
You may also choose to receive product reminders, push notifications, emails, text messages, or marketing communications where available. You can manage optional communications through your device settings, app settings, unsubscribe links, or by contacting us. Message and data rates may apply.
21. Changes to Subscription Terms
ResetDay may modify these Subscription Terms from time to time. Updated Subscription Terms will be made available through the Service, website, or another reasonable method. The "Last updated" date will indicate when these Subscription Terms were last revised.
Changes to subscription price, billing frequency, automatic renewal terms, free trial terms, cancellation rights, or refund terms will apply only after we provide any notice and obtain any consent required by applicable law, payment processor rules, or app marketplace rules. If you do not agree to a material subscription change, you may cancel your Subscription before the change takes effect.
22. Mandatory Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Subscription Terms limits or excludes any non-waivable rights or remedies that you may have under applicable consumer protection, subscription, privacy, payment, or app marketplace laws. If any provision of these Subscription Terms is inconsistent with a non-waivable legal right, that right will prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
